On this course we repeat and practice skills on man-made trails and the famous lift accessed "Flow Motion" trail before we go for a half day trip on natural trails in the highlands.

Skill training - 10.00-12.30 (please be on time)

Focus on general skills (position, balance, absorbing/ pumping terrain)

SkiGeilo sponsers us with a chairlift ticket so we can ride the new flowtrail together.

Lunch: 12.30 – 14.00 Time for individual lunch arrangements (you can order food at the restaurant at Vestlia Resort)

Guided half-day trip:14.00 – 19.00. Trail ride. The trip runs on rocky and partially wet trails above treeline (intermediate level) and includes a fair bit of uphill. We are not in a hurry, will wait for everybody and take everybody's needs and different abilities into consideration. Riding trails with a group means there will be a lot of stop-and-go and chatting on the way. Make sure you bring enough clothing to keep warm!

If the weather turns really bad we'll find a less exposed route. Worst case scenario is that we stay in Geilo and ride/ practise on man-made trails.

Nina Gässler is a certified instructor for NMIG (Norwegian Mountainbike Instructor and Guide) and EO-MTBing (European Bike Guides).

Nina believes that learning and practicing (new) skills works best in a positive, including and supporting environment. No stress, no pressure, no unachievable demands. This is why we organize this as a "women only course".

Please note: You need a mountain bike in good condition (you need to be able to lower the seat), helmet, clothing according to the weather, enough to eat and drink during the lesson/guided tour.

Note: only 10 spaces available per course.
