Booking conditions

Our terms of order, payment, change, cancellation, insurance, rights, obligations, reservations and privacy.

Regarding age at purchase: It is age at the time of purchase that applies. For example, if the child turns 7 in January, the child can use 0-6 year ski pass throughout the season if the ski pass is purchased before the date of birth.

Skipass valid one day or more must be used consecutive days.

* Season card family applies to families at the same residence address. The cards MUST be bought together and everyone in the family must be involved in the purchase / retrieval of the cards. The cards will remain personal.

You can buy the season pass directly on our online booking or in our ship secrets. Without a photo, the season pass is invalid.

** Applies to all lifts and all ages.


Reservations are made for printing errors and any changes in price for increased public fees.

If you buy a ski pass for the following day, the card is valid from 10 am 15. Example: Buying a ski pass with start Saturday on Friday afternoon after 15:00, the card is valid for Friday from 3 pm and all saturday and following days.


  • All prices are in Norwegian kroner. Subject to changes
  • The season pass is personal and cannot be transferred to others.
  • No compensation is given for unforeseen shutdowns, such as bad weather, power outages, machine failures, shutdowns / lifts etc.
  • Reimbursement for injuries / illness is only given to the injured / sick person's medical certificate immediately after a doctor's visit. Refund is only for the days when the ski pass is not used. (Refund not stated on time card, day card or point card).
  • Ski passes purchased online can be picked up at one of the pick-up boxes at Geilo or at one of our outlets. For opening hours outlets, see her. 

All guests must familiarize themselves with which lifts and slopes are open in relation to the weather and lead before purchase of the ski pass. No refunds are given afterwards.

Conditions include booking, payment, changes, insurance, rights, commitments, disclaimer and privacy.

General booking terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to Geilo Skisenter AS (SkiGeilo) and parties who directly or through a third party, enter into an agreement with SkiGeilo according to what is stated in the booking confirmation (the guest).

To book and enter into an agreement with Geilo skisenter AS, persons must be 18 years, this applies to all goods and services you can currently book on our website.


A booking is in binding when the booking number is received by the customer and payment is taken. It is the customers’ responsibility to verify the arrival and departure dates and to insure that all important information in the booking is correct.

Payment via internet

Guest can make payment securely and easy by debit or credit card. 3D secure is active for all transactions on the website. Guest are required to bring confirmation upon arrival.

Cancellation of Ski school, Ski rental, lift passes, child care, meal catering and any other activities:

  • Cancellations 7 days or earlier prior to arrival, a full refund will be give excluding an administration fee of Nok 95,-
  • Cancellations later than 7 days prior to arrival, then the full amount will be retained by SkiGeilo.

We recommend everyone to have their own travel insurance!

Group lessons requires a minimum of 3 people.

1 participant gets private lessons 2 days 80 min. (value 1850 NOK)

2 participants get 3 days 80 min. (value 1850 NOK)

Refund rules for downtime and bad weather:

The ski school does not stop if it is bad weather. If the chair lift closes, other lifts and training methods are used. No refunds are given if the guest chooses to end the hour anyway.

Group lessons:

If the hour has not started and is not possible to complete, there are no refunds.

Private lessons:

If the hour has not started and it is not possible to complete the hour (this is the instructor who decides, not the guest), we will refund the amount minus 150, - in the administration fee.

Changes of your booking:

We recommend to all our customers to take out their own travel insurance before travelling, in case of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accident or liability etc.

Changes to SkiGeilo and Guest rights

SkiGeilo has the right to change the terms and conditions of activities, and may offer the guest an alternative.

Disclaimer / Force Majeure

SkiGeilo shall not be liable for unsatisfactory weather conditions, closed facilities or any other circumstances beyond our control. We are subject to errors and changes in our price lists, description of services and technical support.


Upon registering personal data, the guest is consenting that SkiGeilo can use the information in conduct with their obligations to the customer. Customer personal information may be shared with a third party. All Customer data is stored in accordance with Norwegian law.
