General booking conditions
Our terms regarding booking, payment, change, cancellation, insurance, rights, obligations, reservations and privacy. These general terms and conditions apply between SkiGeilo AS (SkiGeilo) and others who enter into an agreement with SkiGeilo by the confirmation (guest). The agreement applies to the purchase of other products and services or a combination thereof.
To be able to book/enter into an agreement with SkiGeilo about the event, the guest must be 18 years of age. This applies to all goods and services that can be ordered on the current website.
An order is binding as soon as a booking number is assigned to the guest and payment is made. It is the guest's responsibility to check that the arrival and departure dates, as well as anything else that is important to the booking, are correct. The guest must bring the confirmation on arrival.
The prices for products and services are listed in NOK, and inkludes taxes. Total amount will be presented in the cart before the order is confirmed.
The guest can pay safe and easy by card (VISA, MasterCard, Maestro). When the order is confirmed you'll be redirected to our partner Nets EASY to complete the payment. We also offer payment through Afterpay and Vipps.
Cancellation / Change of booking
All cancellations must be made in writing to SkiGeilo: [email protected].
Changes to bookings must be made by phone +47 32 09 00 00 or by e-mail to [email protected]. SkiGeilo has the right to change the terms of activity if the guest can be offered equal services.
If you cancel more than 7 days before arrival you'll get a full refund with the exception for the 25 NOK cancellation fee .
If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival there is no refund.
If you are injured or sick you might qualify for a refund by showing documentation. See what rules apply to the products /services you have ordered below.
Possible refunds will be made to the same account that made the purchase.
We advise all our customers to make good insurance contracts before travel, in case of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accident, liability or similar.
SkiGeilo offer an insurance for rental equipment, the insurance covers damage on equipment.
1. Terms and reimbursement for lift passes
Ski passes valid for more than a day must be used on consecutive days.
* Some terms may vary for the season pass.
Children: 0-6 years (runs free with helmet)
Youth: 7-17 years
Adult: 8-64 years
Senior: 65+ years
Children: 0-4 years
Youth: 5-15 years
Adult: 16+ years
All Year Pass:
Youth: 7-17 years
Adult: 8-64 years
Senior: 65+ years
Regarding age at purchase: The age at the time of purchase applies. For example, if the child turns 7 in January, the child can still use the lift pass for children aged 0-6 y/o all season if the pass is purchased before the date of birth.
* Season passes for family applies to families at the same place of residence. The cards MUST be purchased collectively and everyone in the family must be present when buying/picking up the cards. The cards remain personal. You can buy the season pass directly on our online booking or at our ski reception. Without a photo, the season pass is invalid. The season pass is personal and cannot be used by or transferred to others.
There is no refund for lift passes due to bad weather, fog, snow, icing, technical errors or the like. The customer must assess the weather and driving conditions based on your own skiing skills. If you are uncertain about the weather and weather, contact the ticket reception before purchasing a lift pass.
In the event of injury or illness, reimbursement will be granted upon presentation of a medical certificate immediately after a doctor's visit. Reimbursement is only given to the person who is ill or injured, and only for those days, the ski pass has not been used.
No refunds are given on open or optional days.
* Regarding season passes / All Year passes: If more than 2/3 of the season passes validity remains, the amount corresponding to unused time will be refunded in full. No refund will be given if less than 2/3 of the season passes validity remains. The season pass winter is valid for 5 months: Dec-April. All Yeas season pass is valid for a total of 10 months: Dec-April + June-Oct, with the value divided with 40% on the summer period, and 60% on the winter period.
All guest are obliged to follow the alpine safety rules. Breaking the rules can result in expulsion from the resort. SkiGeilo reserves the right to confiscate lift passes on a temporary og permanent bases when the alpine safety rules are broken. Read more about the safety rules here.
2. Terms and reimbursement for Ski and Bike Rental
Credentials must be shown to rent equipment.
Equipment should only be used in open/prepared tracks.
SkiGeilo is not liable for personal injury caused to the tenant by the use of rental equipment.
The renter is financially responsible for the equipment during the rental period. Theft is not covered by equipment insurance. We recommend everyone to have your own travel insurance!
No refunds for canceled rent.
3. Terms and reimbursement for Ski School
Group education requires a minimum of 3 people. With 1 participant, group tuition changes to private tuition 2 days an 80 minutes. With 2 participants, group teaching for private lessons is spent 3 days an 80 minutes. Possible changes will be made right before beginning of the lesson, there will not be any added cost for the customer.
Ski rental and lift passes are not included in the ski school. The customer have to have the necessary equipment and lift passes upon beginning of the lesson.
The ski school doesn't stop if it's bad weather. If the chairlift closes, other lifts and training methods are used. No refund will be given if the guest chooses to end the hour anyway.
There are no refunds, so make sure to give the right information upon booking the lesson. Giving the wrong information can mean that the customer will not be able to participate due to being put in the wrong level og age. It is not possible to switch group.
4. Terms and reimbursement for Høyt & Lavt climbing park and the zipline
Tickets are not refunded less than 7 days in advance. Tickets are valid for the date and time ordered.
In the event of injury or illness: You will be able to switch the date within the same season. To switch the date due to injury or illness you'll have to present a medical certificate immediately after a doctor's visit. Please contact [email protected]
If the activity closes you can choose between switching the ticket to another date within the same season or get a refund.

Any consumer have the right to make a complaint to the Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet). They can be contacted by mail Postboks 2862 Kjørbekk, 3702 Skien eller through their homepage https://www.forbrukertilsynet.no/english. In the consumer wishes to take the matters further they can make a complaint to the Europe commissions complaint portal. This is relevant for consumers living in EU-countries. The complaint can be made through their website: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
SkiGeilo reserves the right to changes the terms and conditions. You will be informed if the changes will effect your rights or the products you have purchased.
