All types of mountain boots that are high and cover the ankles can be used with the crampons used for glacier guiding. Low shoes are not recommended, as the straps on the crampons go around the calf and will gnaw to be uncomfortable. We have available shoes in different sizes that will be handed out at the meeting for glacier guidance.
