New – Operation Høyt & Lavt

This summer, join an exciting detective adventure at Høyt & Lavt Climbing Park in Geilo! Operation Høyt & Lavt has been developed in collaboration with the popular children's author Jørn Lier Horst and combines climbing, play, and mystery-solving into one fun experience.

As they make their way through the climbing courses, children will collect clues, solve puzzles, and uncover who is behind a mysterious theft. Once the mystery is solved, a small reward awaits the young detectives.

Price: NOK 50 per participant (available for purchase at reception)
Booking: Available at the reception. It can also be added as an optional extra when purchasing a climbing ticket.
How it works: The activity can be completed both from the ground and in the climbing courses. You decide whether to purchase a climbing ticket and solve the mystery from the treetops, or follow the clues and complete the challenges from the ground.

Climbing Park for Families

Høyt & Lavt climbing park is a great activity suitable for everyone. It doesn't matter what shape you are in or whether you have never climbed before. Here, grandparents can climb together with the grandchildren or vice versa, mother and father can create new bonds together, and friends can create new memories.

Safety Regulations for Høyt & Lavt

Practical info:

  • It's possible to buy a 3-hour ticket, but also a season pass.
  • Avoid queuing - Show up at the start time you've booked!
  • Pre-booked tickets: Meet at the harness hut at your booked start time, and get your ticket ready while you wait for your harness. The harness hut is located at the entrance to the chairlift.
  • Drop-in: Check available capacity at the info center and buy your ticket there before heading to the harness hut.
  • Minimum age is 4 years. Children aged 4-6 must be accompanied by an adult who also purchases a ticket. The adult then gets 50% off their ticket (purchased at the till - exempt from capacity restrictions).
  • Climbing in the courses without a climbing harness is not permitted. The rules are covered in the instructional video and at the training course before you start. Breaking the safety rules will result in removal from the climbing park, without refund.

Height requirements for the different course colors:

  • Orange: Over 80 cm.
  • Green/dark green: Over 110 cm.
  • Red/blue: Over 140 cm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the red and blue courses.

Access to the climbing courses is not permitted for people who:

  • Weigh more than 120 kg.
  • Are pregnant, or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

Everyone climbing must take part in the training, and understand and follow the climbing park's rules. There are 3 training courses, 2 orange, 2 green, 1 blue and 1 red course. The climbing park consists of a total of 73 elements, 10 ziplines and 6 courses.

Skarvetårnet (Skarve Tower): Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult to climb on the walls.

Høyt & Lavt is a fun group activity that is suitable for both larger families, companies, birthday parties and team building. SkiGeilo Activity Park is happy to open for groups of at least 15 people.
