Bike Rental in Geilo

SkiGeilo Activity Park has Geilo's largest bike rental service, offering bikes for all needs, both for children and adults: balance bikes without pedals, BMX, mountain bikes, e-bikes, trail bikes, and downhill bikes. We also provide bike trailers compatible with our Hardtail e-bikes and Hardtail mountain bikes. Additionally, you can rent helmets and protective gear and purchase clothing and equipment in our summer shop.

If you wish to reserve bikes, you must do so online by 12:00 PM the day before. Otherwise, bike rentals are available on a drop-in basis at our rental service.

Opening Hours Bike Rental

Here you can find the opening hours for the information center, bike rental, and bike lift for the summer of 2025.

May 20 – July 4: Online booking only, pre-booking 48 hours in advance. Pick-up/return by appointment. No drop-ins!

July 5 - August 17: Every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
August 23 - September 21: Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
September 27 - October 11: Every day from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We Recommend Bike Insurance

As a renter, you are responsible for the bike and all accompanying equipment during the rental period. Our damage insurance covers any repairs and damages we can handle ourselves, including bike locks.

The insurance rates are as follows: children's bikes, mountain bikes, and trail bikes cost NOK 65 per rental, while e-bikes cost NOK 100 per rental.

Please note that the insurance does not cover theft or total loss of the bike. In such cases, the renter will be held liable for compensation. We recommend that you check what your travel insurance covers and take good care of the equipment you rent.
