Geilo is a winter paradise for children, with 4 ski areas built especially for the young ones. These ski areas are located in Vestlia, Kikut, Slaatta and Havsdalen.

Vestlia

Trollklubben has a unique children's area. With magic carpet, slow and easy button lift and gentle slopes. In the slopes there are many fun and colorful elements that the children can turn around, slide under and have fun with. New this year is the Trollklubben Troll cross, a fun-filled trail that goes through the Troll woods. Trollklubben child care is located close to the lifts and slopes. A“ski in – ski out” childcare where the children can have fun while taking a break from skiing. Maybe while the rest of the family take a run or two in the more advanced slopes. When children feel more secure, they can move over to the Troll lift. This button lift goes a bit faster and longer, perfect for the next level, also with the possibility to ski off halfway up the lift. There will also be built a Troll cross next to the Troll lift for even more fun!

Havsdalen

Havsdalen has a cozy children's area with magic carpet and new, fun elements. Close by is also an easy button lift and beginners slope. The children areas is close to the cafeteria and the other lifts. Havsdalen is the perfect area if your group has skiiers of different levels, when you or your child feel secure in the slope you've been riding, check the map for where you can find the next level!

Slaatta

Slaatta is well suited for both the younger and older children. There is a large children's area with fun characters, forest trails, self-timer slalom course, jumps and the opportunity for sledding and other activities. In the children's area, you can also use the BBQ by the Gapahuk. It's a perfect starting point for family skiing.

Kikut

The children's area with a separate toboggan run is safe and exciting place for the little ones. The magic carpet is fun and easy to use! The children slope has its own start area and figures that motivate kids to do turns and have fun. The button lift goes a little further and provides challenges for the older kids. There is always a member of our staff who can help catching the lift.
