Training Groups in Geilo – Alpine & Park

Geilo is known for its good training conditions all year round. We are proud to offer early access to the ski slopes, especially when we have established a solid base of artificial snow. If you want to secure a place for training, we recommend getting in touch as soon as possible to make a reservation.

Ski pass for training, race and park

  • Ski passes for training are purchased on a separate page. The coach will receive a promo code from his contact person in SkiGeilo.
  • We recommend buying a ski pass well before the training starts.
  • One trainer's card is free for every ten paying athletes.
  • Slope rental and preparation are included in the lift ticket price.
  • The prices only apply to online purchases. It is only possible to buy a ski pass over the counter during normal opening hours.

General guidelines for training

  • Coaches are responsible for ending the training in time so that the whole group is off the slope before the next group starts.
  • It is important that trainers inform the group of the current rules before the training starts.
  • Cafes and toilet facilities can be used as for other guests. A separate lunch box room is also available.

Hans Johnny has worked at SkiGeilo since 2014. He is responsible for the ski school and training coordination. Formerly active alpine athlete, junior Norwegian champion and national team runner, he has also been alpine coach for NTG and the national team from 1989-2014.
