Ever dreamt of flying through the air? Geilo zipline is 1100 meters long, and an exhilarating journey through the sky. Nothing brings family, friends or coworkers together as experiencing and overcoming challenges together.

 

Family zip line

Geilo Zipline is a fun activity for the whole family, where you can choose between a single ride or a tandem ride. Two persons (max 120 kg) can ride the zipline together in tandem and is highly popular. Geilo Zipline is perfect for anybody looking for that extra kick and at the same time enjoy a spectacular view over the National Parks.

Children as young as 5 years (minimum 25 kg) can take the zipline and there's no upper limit. Children tickets are available for children between 5 and 15 years.

Min weight 25 KG, Max 120 KG.

The zip line is open during the lift's opening hours.

20-21th of June: open 10am-4pm
27th of June - 16th of August: Open every day 10am-4pm
17th of August - 20th of September: Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm
26th September - 11th of October: Open every day 10am-4pm
*Last opening day October 11th.

Practical info

Minimum weight 25 kg.

Maximum weight 120 kg.

Lower age limit 5 years.

Do not allow to be intoxicated.

Health: If you are pregnant, have a back, neck, heart, lung problem, epilepsy, or other illnesses that can lead to seizures, you should consider whether taking the zipline is justifiable.

In bad weather, the zipline can be closed for safety reasons.

How do you get here?

If you come by car, the address is Bakkestølvegen 80, 3580 Geilo. From the roundabout in the center of Geilo, take the Fv40 towards Kongsberg, after about 700 m follow the signs for Geilo Summer Park.

If you come by the Bergen railway to Geilo it is 2.4km / about 30 min to walk in the direction of Vestlia / Geilo Summer Park.
