Horseback riding tour - 4 hours
Riding tour up the hill towards Kikut and Bruslettstøl. As we go, we will have a nice view to Hallingskarvet.
<p><strong>Information: </strong></p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 4 hours.</p><p><strong>Price includes:</strong> 4 hour tour – helmet. </p><p><strong>Age limit</strong>: Not for beginners. (Please check out our 1 and 2 hour tour) 12 years old. Children with experience may be somewhat younger, please contact us if this is your situation. All children up to the age of 12 must bring their parents, and they must also join the tour. It is not possible to walk along due to safety. </p><p><strong>Bring</strong>: Something to drink. Dress the same way you would for a hiking trip in the mountains, we recommend long trousers and solid footwear (mountain hiking boots). If you have your own riding/bicycle helmet you are welcome to bring this with you. </p><p><strong>Meeting place:</strong> Please meet 15 minutes before your booked time at Geilo Hestesenter, Stølsvegen 15, 3580 Geilo. </p><p><strong>Contact information:</strong> [email protected], +47 906 43 545</p><p><br></p><p>The 4 hour trip will take you up the hills towards Kikut and the Bruslettstøl. As we go, we will have a nice view to Hallingskarvet. Bring along something to drink, as there will be a short stop to stretch your legs. The horses will have their saddlebags on to carry your drink, as a backpack is uncomfortable in the saddle. Are you experienced, you are welcome to join us in grooming and saddling the horses before the trip. We do mainly ride on our Icelandic horses, but also have the Norwegian breed Døle-horse. A sturdy horse for the bigger riders, or those who just prefer a bigger horse. Just give us a notice as you book the ride if you have any preferences. All our horses are experienced and very suited for riding in the mountains, and all sorts of trails.</p><p>You can also check out our "1 hour ride" and the "2 hour ride", or "winter-riding"(starts after 15.oct and is just for experienced riders.)</p>
