Together with experienced guides, you get the opportunity to experience Hardangerjøkulen up close, learn about the history and everything the ice can tell us. The glacier trip starts from Finse Railwaystation and on the hike up to the foot of Hardangerjøkulen there are a few stops where you get knowledge about the area and the history of the glacier. At the foot of the glacier, you will be given equipment and then enter the spectacular glacier with the rope team - we promise an experience you will never forget.

The trips basically go daily during the summer season. The tours start at 11.00 from Finse railway station, with attendance in the waiting room. The tours last for 6-7 hours where we walk 15-17 km in hilly high mountain terrain, mostly outside the marked DNT trail.
